**I’m Embarrassed by How Much I Love This Dish, But It’s Too Good Not to Share**

There are some recipes that you just can’t stop making, even though they might not be the most glamorous or sophisticated dishes out there. You know the ones—simple, comforting, and incredibly indulgent—but for some reason, they bring an overwhelming sense of guilt. You tell yourself, “I shouldn’t make this again,” only to find yourself in the kitchen, whipping it up for the hundredth time. This is one of those dishes.

I’m embarrassed by how much I love it, but here’s the truth: **it’s too good not to share**. This recipe may not win any culinary awards for creativity, but its flavor and simplicity are completely irresistible. You’ll understand why I make it so often once you try it for yourself.

So here it is, the dish I can’t help but adore:

### **Cheesy Bacon Ranch Pasta Bake**

This dish is exactly what it sounds like: creamy pasta, loaded with cheese, crispy bacon, and a punch of ranch flavor. It’s the perfect comfort food, and it’s packed with everything that makes you feel cozy, warm, and satisfied. This is a meal that’s perfect for lazy nights, family dinners, or when you’re just in the mood for something ridiculously delicious.

### Ingredients:

– 1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite pasta shape)
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 8 slices of bacon (or more if you want extra crispy goodness)
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 packet ranch dressing mix (the dry kind, not the liquid)
– 1 cup sour cream
– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup milk
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

### Instructions:

#### Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it’s boiling, add your pasta and cook according to package directions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.

#### Step 2: Cook the Bacon
While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until it’s crispy and golden. Once done, remove the bacon from the skillet and set it on a paper towel to drain excess grease. Once it’s cool, crumble it into small pieces.

#### Step 3: Make the Creamy Sauce
In the same skillet you used to cook the bacon (no need to clean it!), add the olive oil and cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and combined with the oil. Next, stir in the sour cream, milk, and ranch dressing mix. Keep stirring until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the sauce feels too thick, add a little more milk until you reach your desired consistency.

#### Step 4: Combine the Pasta and Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, creamy sauce, crumbled bacon, and half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Mix everything together until the pasta is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

#### Step 5: Bake the Pasta
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the top is golden brown.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Once it’s out of the oven, sprinkle the top with fresh parsley or green onions for a pop of color. Serve immediately and enjoy this creamy, cheesy, bacon-filled pasta bake.
